Complete hygiene lock

Just like at the sites in Tilburg (NL) and Wielsbeke (B), BOONS FIS supplied and installed a new hygiene lock in the recently built Agristo facility in Nazareth. Operators access the gate by a badge system, passing through a full-height turnstile into a standard hygiene lock designed for the food sector.

This is where the procedure begins, with hands being thoroughly washed and disinfected before access to the production area is granted.

Step 1: Soap the hands

The HDK/XL is an automatic dispenser that sprays soap onto the hands when the user inserts both hands into the circular openings. Once successfully soaped, the turnstile is unlocked, allowing the operator to move to the sinks for further hand washing.

A sensor activates the HDK/XL hand chemistry unit. Hands are inserted into the designated openings and soaped. Then, the turnstile grants access to the next step of the hygiene lock.

Step 2: Wash the hands

The stainless steel handwashing sink WR3 is equipped with Dyson AirbladeTM Wash+Dry taps, which automatically switch between water and air. Without touching the tap, hands can be washed and dried. This handwashing sink can be optionally finished with a stainless steel casing to protect the technology. Agristo chose the most aesthetic finish, with a stainless steel base console and removable service panel.

Step 3: Disinfect the hands

In the final phase, users pass by an HDK/XL hand chemical unit, which only grants access (via the turnstile) after both hands have activated the disinfectant spray by entering the openings.

Maximum food safety, without compromise

To ensure that every operator completes the entire process, additional fencing has been placed to outline the path. Access to the production hall is only granted after the full procedure is followed, ensuring maximum food safety, a commitment shared by both Agristo and BOONS FIS.
